The Story

“It reminded me of those old photos of men building skyscrapers, except I had a parachute.”

I volunteered to set up the rope swing, which meant walking the beams of one of China's tallest bridges, 1,200 feet above the river. No safety line. It reminded me of those old photos of men building skyscrapers, except I had a parachute. This was the yearly BASE jumping event in Guizhou.

Why we make these films

Battling Monsters is the mental health movement Jamie Leibert founded. PTSD is the monster. A wingsuit is how he manages it. Not a recovery story. A daily fight, filmed. Every film on this site is free because the people who need it most are the ones who cannot pay for it.
