The fire
Minutes after sunset the van's electrical system caught fire. We shut it down with shaking hands.
The rest of the week
Freedom's first tandem flight was called off because the wind was not right. A broken brake caliper got rebuilt on the cheap, between rain days and roadside goat herds.
Why we make these films
Battling Monsters is the mental health movement Jamie Leibert founded. PTSD is the monster. A wingsuit is how he manages it. Not a recovery story. A daily fight, filmed. Every film on this site is free because the people who need it most are the ones who cannot pay for it.
