Getting out of the mud
First the van had to come out of a muddy Romanian hillside. We winched it out with tie-downs.

Sandra lined up her first big speed flight at Busteni. The wind shifted and shut it down. Calling it off is part of flying too.
The commercial
Then a closed ski resort in western Romania, where I was hired to fly a speedwing alongside a moto team and skiers. The landing zone was squeezed between power lines, so most of the job was scouting it until the line made sense.
