Going bigger
Oliver and I moved up to bigger wingsuits, and the problems started immediately. Oliver had to deploy his reserve. I fought line twists and had to cut away a main that ended up on a rooftop.
Doing the work
So we did weeks of skydive training in bad weather before taking the new suits anywhere near a cliff. A bigger suit is not a shortcut. It is a new skill.
The first cliff
When the training was done, we jumped the new suits from a cliff in Saint Hilaire, France.
