The Story
“I never thought I’d wingsuit again.”
That is the first line Jamie wrote under this film. The injury that stopped the first El Monstruo attempt in Patagonia left him unsure he would ever put a wingsuit on again. Then came six weeks at sea, sailing from Denmark to Norway. A helicopter took the team to the exit. The film is the jump, the pass through the waterfall, and what it takes to walk away from a near miss.

Battling Monsters is the mental health movement Jamie Leibert founded. PTSD is the monster. A wingsuit is how he manages it. Not a recovery story. A daily fight, filmed. Every film on this site is free because the people who need it most are the ones who cannot pay for it.
