What it is

Camp Care More is the adventure camp program for at-risk youth that Just Care More has run since 2017.

It is voluntary and community-based. Kids choose to be there.

What it is not

It is not wilderness therapy. That matters to me more than almost anything on this site.

I spent thirteen years inside the system, starting in group homes. Camp Care More is built the other way. Nobody is sent. Nobody is held.

Why a rope and a mountain

Doing something hard, being scared, and coming out the other side is the most useful thing I know. We do not hand kids that as a lesson. We give them a rope and a mountain and let them find out for themselves.

Why we make these films

Battling Monsters is the mental health movement Jamie Leibert founded. PTSD is the monster. A wingsuit is how he manages it. Not a recovery story. A daily fight, filmed. Every film on this site is free because the people who need it most are the ones who cannot pay for it.
