CARE MORE

At-risk youth don't need another lecture. They need a rope, a mountain, and someone who's actually been through it. Nine years of real outdoor adventure - built by us, for them.

The Origin

Where Just Care More Started

Before Battling Monsters went viral. Before Captain Manicorn flew across Europe. Before any of the big numbers - there were kids at a camp, learning what it felt like to do something hard and survive it.

Camp Care More has been running since 2017 and is Just Care More's original proof of work. Adventure sports camps for at-risk youth: rock climbing, paragliding introductions, outdoor survival, team challenges, and the lived experience of pushing past fear with a community at your back.

The camps don't promise to fix anything. They promise to show kids what's possible when someone actually shows up for them - with real programming, real equipment, and real adults who understand what it means to have come from nothing.

For grant reviewers wondering if Just Care More is just talk: Camp Care More is the answer. Nine years of hands-on programming. Real outcomes. Real kids.

What the Camps Actually Do

A youth climbs a granite boulder on belay at Freedom Land - Camp Care More adventure sports
Adventure Sports
Rock climbing, rappelling, paragliding introductions, outdoor survival skills, and team-based physical challenges. Real gear, real terrain, real risk - managed safely.
A youth participant laughing and smiling while building the camp structure at Freedom Land
Community Building
Group dynamics, peer accountability, shared challenge, and the experience of belonging to something. The same framework Jamie used to rebuild his own life - scaled to a camp environment.
A youth in safety goggles uses a DeWalt drill to build camp structures at Freedom Land - Camp Care More life skills
Life Skills
Decision-making under pressure, managing fear, accountability, showing up when it's hard. The outdoor environment creates conditions where these skills aren't taught - they're required.
Caleb holds a whiteboard sign at Freedom Land that reads: Just Care More has taught me how to live in the moment
Youth Voice
"Just Care More has taught me how to live in the moment."
