Captain Manicorn is the adventure name of Jamie Leibert, founder of Just Care More. A professional wingsuit and BASE jumping athlete across 80+ countries, Captain Manicorn is the public face of the Battling Monsters movement: using adventure and extreme sports as a tool to fight for mental health. The adventures are real, and so is the reason behind them. Every jump is part of the same fight we all have, against the monsters that try to pull us down. Jamie Leibert is the founder. Captain Manicorn is the one who jumps off the mountain.
The Captain Manicorn documentary series was born in Norway during Ekstremsportveko, when Jamie called Sandra from the mountains and told her he wasn't coming home. Not yet. Season 1 was conceived during the COVID-19 pandemic, when their event business collapsed and they chose the mission instead.
The show premiered on Facebook Watch and YouTube in June 2020. Season 1 covered 15+ European countries, generating 1.6 million combined views and landing features in BBC, Fox News, and international media. It has an active IMDB listing and a Wikitia entry.
Every episode follows a simple format: Jamie (Captain Manicorn) and Sandra (Captain Ladycorn), accompanied by their rescue dog Journey, arrive somewhere new, face impossible logistics, and find a way to fly.
From Norway to Romania — every episode a new country, a new obstacle, a new flight.
Season 1 generated international press coverage across 6+ countries.
Season 1 was Europe. The adventures keep going. Subscribe on YouTube and follow Jamie and Sandra as they use extreme sports to take the Battling Monsters movement global.
The same daily framework Jamie uses to manage his monster. Five minutes. Works every day.
